Mari socializes extremely well, believe it or not. She makes friends easily, but has a hard time in society sometimes, for her friends never stick around long enough to do so She makes friends easily, but has never had any true friends. Mari falls easily when it comes to love, and she trusts easily as well. Marian is a relatively kind and caring person, but she's also bold, courageous, and not afraid to kick some ass.
She will rarely use sarcasm, but when she does, she mostly uses sarcasm as a scapegoat, and in awkward situations, which rarely ever happens because Marian rarely ever goes out.. Mari always has been a semi-loner. It doesn't matter if she's good at making friends, she has always sort have been... alone.
Mari believes in family, there is strength. It doesn't matter that she is dead to her father, or that her mother skipped town, it doesn't matter that they abandoned her, though it does hurt at times to think about it. Marian counts on the remaining people in her community, and her friends, or will count on them soon enough.

The tales of the Stuart bloodline has been passed down through ages, and ages, starting in the twelfth century. It was rumored to have descended from a very powerful warlock called Scott Stuart, who slept with an exceptionally power witch by the name of Anastasia Loer. Through the ages, this family became rich, and had high status in the supernatural world, regarding the witches, but over time, it decreased, and they stayed rich, but slightly lost their status of being pureblood of the line. This loss in status was caused, simply, by a baby girl, who would grow up to be a powerful witch. And her name was Marian Caomei Stuart.
Marian Caomei Stuart was born out of wedlock, reducing the Stuart status, to Rosalie Stuart and James Powers. She was born on October 1, 1986 in Kinross, Scotland, and although she was born of wedlock, she was dearly loved by her family. Being an only child was hard for her. Marian, or Mari as currently goes by, had grown up with only herself and a nanny called Melissa. Her parents were very rich, and soon wed soon after she was born, but they were always unhappy in Scotland. And James was always away on business, Mari's mother Rosalie always focusing on her magic, a trait that had been passed down to Marian.
Once James had discovered that Rosalie and Mari were both witches, he wanted nothing to do with them, and a divorce ensued between the Rosalie and James. Rosalie kept Mari and much of her family's wealth, but the mother and daughter soon moved to America when Marian turned five. More specifically, they moved to Mystic Falls, Virginia, rumored to be a Supernatural HotSpot town, where the strangest of happenings occurred. Rosalie and Marian bonded closer than they were before, Rosalie teaching Marian to be a great and powerful witch, in able for her to use her powers to their full potential. By the age of seventeen, Mari was a very powerful witch, overpowering even her mother.
When Mari was eighteen and a senior at Mystic Falls High School, she came home to her lavish house near the Salvatore Boardinghouse, dreading to see her mother. Rosalie had been acting sketchily lately, and what Marian didn't know was that she was practicing black magic, the darkest of magic, which Rosalie had picked up from a recent trip to New Orleans. When Mari got home, her mother was waiting at the top of the stairs, her nose bleeding. Mari had ran up the stairs to question her mom, asking her if she overexerted herself, but her mother didn't even speak. It was almost like the magic had taken complete control over her, and Rosalie screamed, sending her daughter flying down the stairs, crashing face-forwards into the window, and she soon blacked out after that. She was fine, but remained alone, as her mother had skipped town. Now, five years later, Mari is still alone, but remains as powerful a witch as ever.
