Bonnie Bennett is a loyal to her friends and to her believes. She was a very positive and happy person until she started losing the people she cared. She is know very serious and takes every problem very seriously and she troughs herself head on. She is also very powerful witch that has used and abuse her powers. She has power enough to kill and original.
She is a very strong person who has been able to overcome the pain of losing over and over again. She is able to cordial with Damon even after everything he had done, proving she is a bigger person, someone that overlook and forgive past actions. She is also friends with Stefan even do he is a vampire, after he had proven himself to be very different from his brother. She can be easily manipulated if you know where to push, her great weakness is also her biggest strength her friends and specially Jeremy, the person that she loves.

Bonnie Bennett was born on February 15, 1992 in the small town of Mystic Falls, Virginia. Her parents were Rudy Hopkins and Abby Bennett and her grandmother Sheila Bennett. Her mother abandoned her that same year after she took down the Original Vampire Mikael. During her childhood she becomes best friends with Elena Gilbert and Caroline Forbes. Her grandmother told her about her witch heritage but she didn’t believe her, Bonnie joked about it when she told Elena on their way to school on their first day.
Until her grandmothers death Bonnie isn’t too serious about magic. But her death in order to perform a spell, to release Damon makes Bonnie get more involved in the matter. Bonnie knowing what Damon is isn't a big fan of his relation with Caroline how keeps assuring her that it's all fine. At a town party Bonnie turns on a call that just blow out and them starts practicing at home.
After discovering the Bennett Talisman she discovers her connection with Emily Bennett, the witch that was with Katherine in 1864. After a few dreams about her ancestor Bonnie, possessed by her, destroys the talisman in front of Damon how ends up biting Bonnie. But she is saved by Stefan how gives her his blood, after that she is in the whole secret about the supernatural creatures.
Bonnie involves with Ben, the bartender from the Mystic Grill, and after some encouragement from Elena she kisses him. At that point she got a strange vibe and she tried to run away but was stopped by Ben how knocked her out. She had been kidnapped by Anna to help her release her mother from the tomb. Is after that moment and they got released that Bonnie and Sheila open the tomb that ultimate leads to Sheila's Death.
Bonnie leaves Mystic Falls for a while and even does she keeps in touch with Caroline she ignores Elena because of her relation with vampires. The fight between them doesn't last much. After that she tells Elena that the device Isobel, Elena's mother, is looking is a weapon to kill vampires. She agrees to annul it but she doesn't almost causing the death of the Salvatore Brothers but in the end helps Stefan save Damon.
Later she discovers that Caroline had a car crash and is berry alive. She tells Damon to give Caroline his blood in order to heal her. After finding out that Caroline is now a vampire because of that she attacks Damon and almost kills him. She doesn't speak to Caroline for quite some time but cast her one daily ring.
She agrees to help Damon and Stefan kill Katherine but the plan fails when Bonnie discovers that Katherine is linked to Elena. She also meets another family member that is her cousin, Lucy.
When Elena is abducted by Trevor and Rose, Bonnie is able to tells her that help is coming but has a nose bleed after that, showing that she is using too much power. Later she meets Luka and his father and bonds with Luka. Until she discovers that he is working with Elijah and them she tries to get information from them.
She is able to gather the power of the dead witches and has power to kill and original, Klaus. But the plan fails after the betrayal of Elijah, his brother who they thought was siding with them.
She makes the witches angry when she uses her power to bring Jeremy Gilbert back to live after he is killed by Sherriff Forbes. Recently her gran's old friend, Katie
Daren moved back into town and she has
approached Bonnie as she promised Sheila
that she'd help and protect Bonnie should anything happen to her.
